The overnight stormed eased off nice by the time I met with Neil at 6:30am for two laps of the Bay Run. Quite unusually the whole circuit was devoid of runners and cyclists alike. Back side of the run (i.e. Drummoyne) was particularly annoying due the stiff headwind. Neil – again dressed as a snowman – provided reasonable chat. I have given him a 10% probability of going sub-70 at GC half in 4 weeks.
Covered 19k in the 90 min run. From 10k I had a weak stomach (2nd day running) which made the last few K unpleasant.
