AM: Sounding like a broken record but stiffness around the ankle has not abated. Had similar issues in 2013 (on other foot), leading to 3 months off. Need to tread cautiously.
Avoided the usual 30km Centennial run with the crew. Cut this in half and that’s the distance covered with Molly. Course took us southbound to Cooks River. Mixed it up with 10 push-ups every 1km. A good way to reduce impact stress. Noticed by the end, ankle was neither better nor worse.
16km all up with 20×10 push-ups.
PM: sweat it out on the couch or duck into Leichardt pool once again? I did the later and battled the families and kids which had similar aspirations. Expected the shoulders would be sore. Not so.
Knocked out some easy ‘free’ and beat yesterday’s time by 1 min. The effort was lower yet the time was faster. A slow going 44 min over 2km.
Will be reviewing Lewis Ingram’s home cooking tonight. Expecting great things from this guy.
