Normally if I feel rubbish, then I default to 60 min easy with HuRTS. It’s clear from Mon, then again Tues that even 10-12km/day is too much. Though I hate to admit, a few days rest days in order.
Wednesday: 6km walk / jog around Farm Cove saying Hi to the corporate cup participants. This was closer to a lunch-time stroll and sun-tanning exercise than a run. Felt better afterwards.
Thursday: home sick today – no exercise aside from a few push-ups and 30 min walk with Molly. Clearly I missed some quality 1k reps down at Rushcutters on the 1st day of spring. To compensate, the girls took me to Kepos Street Kitchen for an early Father’s Day lunch.
Snapper burger in a brioche bun. As good as it looks.
And the seared tuna salad is also a good pick.
Running wise, I have now written off the prospect of Striders North Head 10km on Saturday.
