Reaping the benefits of eliminating the double runs last week, which was -20% lighter on the Ks. Felt just fine this morning, perhaps a little low on energy. Some times it’s hard to know if that’s due to Trinity, bad sleep, bad food or the training load.
Knocked out 20 min core/strength before 6am – easier than expected. The X-training is coming along nicely and I find myself looking forward to it!
Followed it up at lunch with a really relaxed 60 min recovery run; usual Barangaroo circuit. Again, I felt great and boy were Renee and Brendan were running like peacocks after their amazing PBs yesterday.
14km at lunch, 20km for the day (ran in, rode home).
This week, I’m looking to reload the legs. I’m in that critical 3-4 weeks out from Melbourne. No hiding from high Ks, solid speedwork.
