Conway is back from his Thailand trip and noticeably larger around the shoulders. Must be all that cross-training and no running. Anyway, the three of us including Sammy J headed out to Centennial at lunch – a diversion from my usual HuRTS run. Frankly I’m a little sick of the 4:30 min/km pace the Monday guys revert to. Too fast for my tired old legs.
Today was 5 min/km and fast enough. This meant the 15km via Ruchcutters, up Ocean Road then CP felt remarkably easy.
Feeling strong every day that passes. Logic would dictate to stay off speed for this week.
72 min run longer-than-expected but got back just before 2pm. That’s the work cut-off time.
